Terms & Conditions

Full terms and conditions are detailed below and by booking with The Baking Parlour it will be deemed that the terms and conditions have been read and understood by the customer. Any queries please contact The Baking Parlour.

Payment

A non-refundable 25% deposit for celebrations and wedding cakes is required to secure your date and order. Without a deposit it is not a booking, but an enquiry. The balance for celebration cakes can be paid on collection or via bank transfer beforehand. No cake will be released without full payment. Wedding cakes balances must be paid 3 weeks before the date.

Delivery and Collection

Collection is available from The Baking Parlour. Please ensure you have an empty boot or foot-well to transport your cake in (do not put on a seat!). The Baking Parlour will not be held liable for any damage to the cake once it has left the premises. Delivery is available for an additional cost. If delivered to a venue, photos will be taken once in site by The Baking Parlour.

Storage and best before date

All cakes will be boxed and should NOT be put in the fridge, unless otherwise stated. All cakes are made from fresh natural ingredients and do not have any preservatives or additives like most supermarket cakes. Your cake is baked fresh for your chosen date and is best consumed within 4 days.

Complaints

The Baking Parlour strives to fulfill your cake dreams, however should you be unhappy with any aspect of your cake, please notify The Baking Parlour upon collection/delivery, so that I can try to rectify it in time for the event. Any other concerns should be made in writing along with any evidence regards to the fault. Refunds will not be given due to change of mind.
