Your wedding cake is likely the most important cake you will order and is the centrepiece of any wedding reception. You will have a vision of what you would like it to look like and I would be delighted to take your vision to a reality. This may be a contemporary, elegant, vintage or rustic design.
The Baking Parlour aims to match your cake with your wedding colour theme, so it brings everything together.
I offer cake consultations for couples, so you can discuss your ideas while tasting a variety of different flavour. Cake consultations are £20 per couple, however, should you book with The Baking Parlour, this will be deducted from the final cost. It will also give you a chance to view some display cakes and give you an idea of cake sizes.
The price for each wedding cake is unique, as they are so individual, therefore, the final cost will depend on the complexity of the design, whether it is a naked, semi naked or fondant iced and how much sugar art is in the design.
A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your date. This will save the date, even if you are unsure of the design you require. Booking early is recommended as the summer months get booked up quickly.
The balance payment will be due 3 weeks before the date of the wedding. All prices will include delivery and set up at your venue up to a 10-mile radius, any further will incur a delivery charge.
Cake stands
The Baking Parlour has a range of cake stands that can be hired to accompany your cake. The hire charge is £10 and a £100 refundable security deposit is required, which will be refunded once returned in the same condition.
